Most women have a love-hate relationship with mascara. We love the glamour of full lashes, but we hate the runny mess that mascara leaves behind—under our eyes, on the pillow, on the face cloth. But we endure the hateful clean-up stage and repeat the process every day.

Are we insane? Yes. Stop this tedious makeup cycle and try eyelash extensions instead.

Semi-permanent eyelash extensions - the latest red carpet craze - have finally come to Montreal.
Mindy Shear Studio is offering them for only $120 (that’s a steal compared to New York prices!). Well worth it for waking up with full, dark, thick lashes – and no clumps, no face streaks, and no towel smudges.

They last between two and eight weeks, depending on how often and how vigorously you rub your eyes. The synthetic lashes are individually applied, woven onto your existing lashes to improve their thickness and length. The black glue acts as mascara, so the effect is dazzling. They’re perfect for a summer vacation or a wedding (when you don’t want to be mopping up makeup), or just to make your everyday look a bit more va-va-va-voom.

Mindy provides one touch-up after the initial application, and she removes the lashes in her studio. (It takes about 30 minutes for the removal.) Expect to sit in the chair for 60 minutes for the first visit. And expect to leave with fluttering, glamour girl lashes.
